On Tuesday March 1st,at 12:51, we joined the nation in sharing a 2 minute silence for the victims of the Christchurch earthquake. We went down on the playing fields before lunch and joined the other classes to make a huge circle. The big children helped show us what to do and we all stood quietly for 2 minutes and thought about the people of Christchurch and the sad thing that had happened.

On Tuesday afternoon some of the senior students came to help us with our learning. They listened to us read and helped us with our maths, handwriting and our drawing. They played games with us on the field before hometime. We liked having their help.
